Technical Standards for Construction (NTC) (DM 17/01/2018). In Italian legislation, it is the main reference for the design and use of concrete. The NTC regulate the design, execution and testing of structures so that they guarantee the essential requirements of mechanical resistance and stability. Guidelines for the installation of structural concrete (26/09/2017) of the Superior Council of Public Works – Central Technical Service. They deal with the operations necessary to create structural concrete with the resistance and durability characteristics envisaged by the project. UNI EN 206 (22/04/2021). Recalled in the NTC partly as mandatory and partly as a useful reference, therefore not mandatory. The standard applies to concrete for structures cast on site, prefabricated structures and prefabricated structural components for buildings and civil engineering structures. UNI 11104 (14/07/2016). Recalled in the NTC as a useful reference, therefore not mandatory. The standard contains the complementary specifications for the application of EN 206 in Italy.
